    sorry all. I have been very unclear from posting the beginning post. not good at writing a tall lol.

    basically I drive up this road all the time so know exactly where the camera is too. I went up the road past the camera doing the speed limit on that road, and went passed calibrated lines to a set off traffic lights and stopped as lights turned red. when the lights then turned green I put my foot down a little and didn't realise until looked at speedo must of gone 5mph over. already past the speed camera tho, but was behind me in distance. hope ive been more clear this time round lol

    So you have passed a speed camera, passed the calibrated lines in the road, stopped at a red light, set off again, and then exceeded the speed limit on the other side of the lights? It's highly unlikely that you were within the range of the camera after all that.
    If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.

    which city was this in? in some cities red light tickets aren't legal anymore

    Agreed....seeing as the camera will only "get" you when your driving over the white lines/squares adjacent to the camera.....from how you describe you had past the camera and lines, stopped at a set of traffic lights, then pulled away and within a few seconds doing 5 mpg over the speed limit.

    You are fine.
