Letter from BW Legal

Need advice please. I got a postal PCN from National Car Parks NCP for being parked longer than time paid for (half an hour over)
I've followed all the advice to ignore all letters. I've had 2 from TRACE recovery. I have now received a letter from NCP saying my account has been passed to BW Legal who will be contacting me.
Oddly, the letter from BWL came with the letter from NCP in the same envelope, both have no "human" signature. The signatures are just printed with the company names.
What should I do now?
A. Ignore it?
B. Write a letter explaining that my disabled son was performing in a show at a nearby theatre and took a while to get changed and we didn't realise the time? I can prove this and have a copy of his Blue badge
C. Offer to pay for the half hour we overstayed
Any advice gratefully received

none of the above
write a LBC rebuttal letter
the BB is not relevant, and the EA2010 may not help either0 -

Did you not know that companies and solicitors do not have to put a name on letters?
Please read any thread about LBC replies (EEEEK NO TEMPLATES PLEASE!!)
I replied to a thread asking about a LBC, less than a minute ago...right next to yours now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has even been suggested that some of these companies have links with organised crime.
Watch the video of the Second Reading and committee stage in the House of Commons recently. MPs have a very low opinion of this industry.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by in the not too distant future..You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
No.. I didn't know that solicitors and companies don't always sign letters!
I couldn't find your answer about LBC on any other thread0 -
Conflicting information about BB as I read somewhere on the Newbies thread that if you have any supporting evidence e.g. blue badge you should use it and I have no idea what EA2010 is

Google ea20100

I have no idea what EA2010 is ]
You need to raise your game, have you never heard of search engines? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
There is no conflicting info about a Blue Badge
They confer no special rights at all, in any way shape or form, on private land
They CAN indicate, obviously, that an occupant of the vehicle should be afforded reaonsable adjustments under the EA2010.0 -

had you come at the beginning of this saga we would have told you to use the blue text appeal template from post #1 of the NEWBIES sticky thread , possibly with an extra paragraph that would have said something like
this would have put NCP on warning about there being a BB holder in the vehicle and the government law that may apply (the EA2010)An occupant of the vehicle is covered by the Equality Act 2010 and so should be allowed "reasonable adjustment" like extra time to arrive and to depart in addition to the BPA CoP grace periods (clause #13). I have attached a copy of the Blue Badge as proof of the entitlement
but you didnt do any of that, yet now that the building is on fire and nearly out of control you want to know how to buy and attach a hosepipe to put the fire out , yet you were drinking a cup of water when the small flame was shown to you in the first place, and ignored it
a judge may have looked favourably on any early attempt and deflecting the initial pcn, but doing so now may, I say , MAY , only fan the flames if that judge tells you off for not doing so (and for not purchasing extra time at the time of the parking incident)
as a carer for this disabled son it is your job to know the laws that protect him , and to use those laws effectively if he is discriminated against
the BB has no real relevance on private land, hence why the EA2010 is so important , see post #49 of this thread
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5878616/urgent-help-required-being-threatened-with-bailiffs-for-a-pcn-when-ticket-states-not-a-pcn&page=3
time to learn what you should have know already, plus in future an early intervention and not burying your head in the sand is your future plan of action as carer
google will tell you about the MCOL process, and about the EA2010 and how it relates to your son
the blue booklet that came with the BB will also tell you that it does not apply on private land, hence my earlier post
prevention is better than cure, so please remember that
this is almost at court claim stage, so prepare for that starting with an LBC rebuttal letter , possibly including the EA2010 warning to see if it puts them off (which I doubt seeing as you have let it go this far)0 -
Ok. Sorry to seem thick, I now realise I should have appealed at the NTK stage but all advice from friends and on here was to ignore it and ignore all debt collectors letters. I don't actually have my son at home anymore, he has been in supported living for years now so I haven't been his carer as such so I hold my hands up to not acting sooner. All I need to know right now is the best type of reply to LBC. I've trawled the Newbies thread for a suitable template or example but there's so much I'm finding it all so confusing and overwhelming. Do I just send an email to BWL explaining the EA2010 as you pointed out ? Do I write a letter and post it? Do I offer to pay a reduced amount which I'm quite willing to do rather than go to court? I'm beginning to wish I'd just paid the £60 and be done with it
