My new boss is accessing Bloomberg from the US (that is the actual Bloomberg system not their website) on his Blackberry and is getting pelican sized bills as a result (you know the old joke).
I was wondering the best way to cut the bills. It needs to be very portable as he goes there for conferences. Is it possible to fit a second SIM into a Blackberry for example, or plug it in externally? That way I could get him a US SIM. Alternatively, would it be possible to buy a cheap Palm Pilot-type device and bung a US PAYG SIM in that?

Hi,
I have a blackberry curve an I'm in the transition period from Tesco mobile to O2. The reason is Tesco don't allow data calls to support the email function on my blackberry (thus defeating the object of the exercise).
I don't know how you would fit a 2nd sim into a blackberry (possibly post something on the tech board?), the only way I could see forward is to have the phone unlocked and use a US sim.No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -
Thanks, I'll try that.0
