Hawkins Bazaar also have a website http://www.hawkin.com. I have a copy of their catalogue it claims to hold over 800 superb curiosities, toys, gifts, gadgets and games for the whole family.
Hawkin will even send you some gift ideas for family presents if you send them details of birthdays etc.
Post & Packing on all UK orders is £4.99
All EC countries add £15
For Republic of Ireland add £10
For BFPO addresses add £6.50
Hope this helps?
I just love Hawkins - I am going to get a kaleidoscope for £1.99 for crimble just for me as I loved them as a kid.0 -
I love hawkin too and have used them the past few years but this year my order has been delayed twice and I only found out after chasing them around. When I asked why they hadn't informed me I was told they didn't have enough staff to 'e-mail everyone who has a delayed order' (their emphasis not mine). I suggested it was part of their job to do so lol. Hopefully just a blip as, if Santa shops there it must be good ;-)

Arrived today
I'm a bit conflicted with dealextreme atm, It arrived in goodtime - from Hong Kong as someone said. Nothing extra to pay - however, what I ordered was:
Item Name: Cool Ring-Style Fingertip USB Optical Mouse
Total: $7.90 USD
Item Name: A-to-Z Series Clip-On Watch (Letter
Total: $4.00 USD
Item Name: Invisible Ink UV LED Pen with Replacement Inks
Item Number: 2572
Total: $3.56 USD
And what I got was:
The mouse, the clip on watch and a solar panel charger which - from looking at the site - seems to be worth at least $20 which is obviously better, but a million miles away from what I bought. I only wanted to test to see what they're like at first, hence only buying just £7 worth of things - waiting for their reply first. I don't want to spend however much to send it back (it's not light!) just to get the pen I ordered (Which I only bought as my mum collects pens)0 -
smickan, they should deal with return postage if it's their error. They should send you the pen anyway as a 'gesture'. Good that you avoided duty though and arrived in good time. Are the products good quality?0

Thanks for posting Smickan, I ordered from them on friday and have only spent about £14 so just waiting to see what turns up now!
Of the other sites mentioned I have used The Book People and they are fantastic - they have a great deal on Roahl Dahl (never spell that right) cds at about £19 for a set of £21 which DS will love.
I've also ordered from Hawkins Bazaar which you can do through quidco and get about 12% cashback.Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Yesterday I received my first order from Deal Extreme, 90% of it was there, just one item missing due to it not being in stock but I think that has been sent on now.0

What a great site... :T
I just placed an order for 2 Reebok mens hoodies, a mens umbro winter jacket, pair ladies Reebok joggers, pair ladies Reebok leather trainers, pair ladies leather high heel Hush Puppies boots, 5 ladies t-shirts and 2 tins cadbury roses. I was automatically given a discount for buying so many sports items and I automatically got free delivery as order was for more than £50.
I also used discount code FF10 and received a further discount of £5.99 so I only ended up paying £50.32 for everything!
Have to say I was pretty pleased with my shopping spree :j and all thanks to Maisie :T My only grumble is that I wasn't quick enough to get the FCUK watches for £9.99!
Will post when my parcel arrives to let you know how long delivery took.0
