My champagne moments are just a day of giving myself some beauty treatments and relaxing in my pyjamas and then getting dressed to go out to a new restaurant in London and hit a few bars tonight.:Asugarbaby125 wrote: »
Fighting With My Family is based on a true story of a Family of Mother, Father, Son and Daughter who all wrestle in Norwich and what happens when both the son and daughter are given the opportunity to audition for the chance to be a participant in WWE in America. The film depicted the journey of the son and the daughter as they both try to pursue their wrestling dream. I did not think I would find this film engrossing as I have no interest in wrestling, but I loved the family interactions, their honesty, their support of each other and their Love for each other. I would give this film 9.5/10
I just saw a trailer for that, it did look good!:)0 -
I have been to M&S this morning...got a really pretty summer dressing gown with broderie anglaise, and a couple of summer nighties...all at 20% off...all at size 16/18 which makes me feel REALLY good! (Some here may know I have lost a fair amount of weight!)...and the dressing gown is definitely a 'champagne' treat for me!
Just a heads-up for anyone who is looking to get some Clothing, Beauty Products or Homeware from M&S...I had a coupon for 20% off (because I have a Sparks Card) and was also given coupons for friends and family to use...however, the store has a pile of coupons at the cash desk (which you have to know about and ask the assistant for!..I saw someone come in and ask - they didn't even have a Sparks Card but got the coupon)...The offer is an 'extended Weekend offer'...from 28th February until 4th March..so if you want to see if you can get a coupon, you have until Monday.0 -

I have been doing a bit of almost-Spring-cleaning...sorting out this and that.
One of the last 'department stores' in our little town is closing down...sad to see the High Street lose another of the old names...on the other hand this meant 'closing-down sale'!!!....I got some new pillows for the bed...and a rather lovely Willow Tree ornament.
My old pillows will be turned into back-support cushions for my armchair.
And an extra bonus...M&S have sent me a voucher...20% of home furnishings and clothing this weekend...I will see what bargains I can find!

Yesterday my Champagne moment was going to watch the performance of I'm a Phoenix Bi*** at Battersea Arts Centre with a free ticket. It was not to my taste, I found the material very dark, very disturbing and quite depressing. I would give this 5.5/10 I could certainly not recommend it to any of my family or friends.0

 everyone,
I haven't abandoned this thread but little by way of "moments" just now as I work through another Meniere's flare up. Lots to look forward to in March though with family birthdays and meeting my son's fiancee's Mum for the first time:D.0 -
What a miserable day......dark,wet and chilly.
After a week of busyness, meals out, cinema, meeting up with friends and family I'm ready for a quiet day at home.
My champagne moments will be snuggling up on the sofa, watching a couple of nice films, reading and tucking into a home made curry.
Managed to get through yesterday ok, just a few tears and the obligatory low moments. Feel quite drained and tired today. But I'm ok. Just need to rest and recharge my batteries.
As my late husband used to say "there's nothing spoiling".
Manana will be fine.0 -

It is a horrible day out there. I just went to feed the birds and my hair was all over the place in the windy weather.:D
I'm just having a nice, relaxing day at home.:) I have a jam doughnut for later as I'm starting my diet tomorrow.:)lessonlearned wrote: »
