  • Ooh sounds exciting. I do this. I found a website called Justlastseason. They sell Jacques Verte, Dash, Eastex and P r e c i s.

I do very well with Jacques Vertes, their sizing seems right for me and the lengths are right too. They do some really great discounts.

Thank you so much for that tip! I will check them out later tonight :)

    Lessonlearned, that sounds really luxurious!

It's my birthday today, and dd1 gave me a nice bracelet, dd2 gave me a specialty tea, husband has promised me a weekend away (probably to Paris), and my parents will give me a bottle of something nicely smelling. We went looking/smelling yesterday, but couldn't find one that I like (small village), so I will look again when we spend the christmas week with them in their large hometown. It's all stuff that does not require dusting and looking after, hurray!

    Happy Birthday

Not sure if they still do it, but they had a thing called "Monday Madness" where they had further one day only reductions. (Bit like Debenhams blue X days).

Well I've had a wonderful relaxing day, full of little treats and champagne moments.

Starting with my coffee in bed, my mini at home spa session, then I popped into Sainsbury's and bought a lovely orchid for my bathroom, then ended up at the cinema to see Bohemian Rhapsody. I loved it. I also bought a ticket for the Andr! Rieu cinema New Year concert.

And I'm not done yet.....a delicious piece of salmon for supper and then a nice cosy Hygge evening with Plex.

Doing well with the 10 f&v challenge.

    Great day today.
  • It was Bohemian Rhapsody I ended up seeing yesterday. Hadnt been planning on going - but when I got invited on the spot I went.

I enjoyed it in fact to my surprise - though I plead guilty to sitting there lusting after that guitarist:rotfl: He was certainly rather tasty imo.....

    Good evening everyone,

Thanks for the good wishes LL
Lucky you Money, I can't wait for that film to come out on DVD as I'm desperate to see it.:)
Champagne moment for today was having the time to have good heart-to-heart with my nephew about a few things that are on his mind that he doesn't particularly want to talk to his Mum about. Nothing huge in the grander scheme of things but you can't always see that when you are twenty! He seemed much happier afterwards and I'm thankful he feels he can talk to me about anything and everything. We've always been very close - I helped deliver him which was a wonderful moment and I think gave us a special bond.:)

We will visit my parents from 21 December until 1 January, and I am planning our time there: visits to my cousins, to my recently widowed aunt, to an indoor fun fair, the christmas service, a friend's birthday at a small cheesemaking farm, and shopping(!). Prices of everything are much lower there than where we live, so for many items and food, we go shopping in my hometown.

I start making my shopping list about a month before we travel, and start looking for vouchers, discount codes, etc. This helps me add champagne moments to our lives.

  • I'm going out in east London tonight. I wanted to go to All Bar One to eat as I saw they have the new vegan Beyond burger there. I thought it was only in the US.:A

The revolutionary Beyond Meat ® burger that looks, cooks and satisfies like meat.

I've had a nice bath this morning and I am going to have a shower and wash my hair before I go out and blow dry it for once! I'm wearing my new dress and I'm going to do my nails. I don't remember the last time I did them! Last year some time, probably.:p

    Enjoy your meal Wednesday.

We're out tonight too at a local pub. They're doing a Tapas evening. Looking forward to it as don't eat out very often.

Wednesday - Have a great time, sounds like fun.

Well I think we're in for a bit of weather here this weekend. Yellow warnings for snow and ice. My champagne moments will probably be of an indoors nature. :D

Putting up the Christmas trees and decorations, roaring fires, candles, heartwarming casseroles, tv, books and films.

Still we've been lucky so far but I have to admit it's very cold here today. A hard frost last night. My body really doesn't like it, so time to dig out the thermals :rotfl:
