I started exercising properly last week (or a few days ago?) and I used my trampoline today and it suddenly felt much easier. I love it when that happens. I must be building up my fitness level and strength.
Champagne moment.

hello my lovely friends...,,,sorry I've been awol but I have been so busy. Not too busy to squeeze in a few champagne moments of course.... most of them The home grown domestic variety......Family time, books, films, a couple of charity shop mooches.Life is taking yet another twist.....as the birth of my second grandson draws near I have decided that as from the next week I will be going into lockdown. The r rate is rising and DIL has been instructed to isolate at least two weeks before the birth. So in order to keep our family bubble viable so I can help out I have decided it's best if I self isolate too. And anyway......as I'm pushing 70 I don't want to take any stupid risks. 😱. So this next week will be a week of transition.......some shopping and a couple of medical appts and then that's it.I don't mind........it will be worth it, the end justifies the means, 😂.I've got plenty to keep me occupied what with granny duties, and house and garden work.Speaking of gardens.....I'm going to post up my progress so far.6

My Champagne moments last night were all about my evening out at the pub. I kept my outfit low key, as I wanted to see the lay of the land now that the pub is open with Covid-19 measures in place. The pub has had a refurb and has social distancing and hand sanitisers and perspex screens at the bar. You are not allowed to sit near or crowd around the bar. The have done a great paint job everywhere and the air conditioner was in full flow which was great for me. I hardly had to use my hand fan. I did a lot of dancing sitting down and only got up for some of my favourite tunes.

You're making great progress in the garden, LL! Apart from a spot of weeding/maintenance, our garden projects are on hold till November now, as there's too much to concentrate on inside, lol, but outdoor plans for the run up to Christmas include revamping the area opposite where we're planning to put the extension next year.
For now, we need to finally get the bathroom relocated and plumbed in after two years!!!
Today's champagne moments included DH lining up some work on a cottage locally for the winter. This may not sound terribly champagne-y, but as they've been let down by some truly awful local builders (who make our joiner issues seem fairly minor!) and are people we have loads in common with, I think it's going to be a good fit
Also, we had a call from the antique centre where we used to have a room selling our wares - they'd sold a piece of taxidermy we'd forgotten all about and had £70 for us, which we used to buy some F&B paint for the bathroom
Later it's going to be tea cakes and crumpets by the wood burner.......Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
