Wow sugarbaby, that is some saving there!! LL I need to sort out my weight gain too - I joined WW online a few weeks ago and did quite well in the first couple of weeks but that all went out of the window with everything I was doing to get the house ready for sale. Phoebe that is really not good about your window guy - I'd be tempted to ask for my deposit back but I can see why you're giving him a chance to do the work. Sheila I have decided to have my hair done differently since lockdown - it's normally very short and I obviously went for months without having it cut or coloured - have decided to grow it slightly longer, into a bob, and to colour it at home to save some money. I really like the colour (Garnier Olia Light Golden Brown) and the style is growing on me. My hair was being blown by the wind yesterday and that hasn't happened to me since I was a teenager  :D

I've woken up mega early (for a Sunday anyway..) as I'm so excited/nervous about the house situation! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much about the offer I want to make - it's so difficult when the market is moving so fast. Been looking at the photos online again and imagining myself and my son there...fingers crossed.

Forgot to say I also had a champagne moment with my car this week - it's on a 4 year lease and I've had it three years (time flies!) so it was due it's MOT this year. I booked it in for its service at a local branch of the dealership, together with the MOT and a change of brake fluid and cleaning of the air conditioning. It cost me a grand total of £118.99 as they didn't charge me for the service...I paid for a service plan when I got it but I was sure that only covered the first two services, so a bit of a Brucie Bonus! And it passed the MOT (although I will have to replace one of the tyres in the next few weeks). Was really chuffed with that!

I'm hoping if all goes well with the house sale and purchase that I can start to spend more time on my blog which has been sadly neglected for the last few weeks. The whole house situation is a great one to write a few articles on, for a start!

I think I'm going to do some more decluttering today - did my garage AGAIN last weekend and had boxes more stuff to take to the charity shop. Going to do under my bed today and then hopefully the loft next weekend...dreading that one... :s
