Good morning everyone,
Many "moments" over the last few days all involving family, food and sunshine a hard to beat combination for me. :DWeather looks great again today so hope to start planting up flower baskets. My elder son & his fiancee had to leave this morning as back to work tomorrow but my younger one is here until Sunday. We had a proper family/extended family weekend which I think did us all a power of good.:D0 -
Evening all. I've had a lovely few days with my eldest Daughter , Son in law and Grandson up from Colchester. The weather's been glorious. We've had a couple of lunches out and a bbq. Hope the lovely weather continues0

Hello everyone.
Lovely to hear your champagne moments. And it's true the best times are often those spent in the company with those we love and cherish, throw in some warm sunshine for good measure and yes, Caronc, its an unbeatable combination.
A gentle day planned today, gardening and enjoying the sunshine.0 -
We walked through the Belgian bluebell woods yesterday, lovely in the shade. In the sunshine it was 29C! Totally free of extra cost, as dh has a company car, and I had packed picknick and snacks. It was our first hike of the season and the 5km walk took us 4 hours , including two picknick and three snack breaks. The view were lovely and the smells were amazing! It was very busy, but everyone was enjoying themselves, and noone was smoking, due to the ban (severe drought here). Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590

I had so many Champagne moments with my sisters and other family in Birmingham from Thursday 18th April until Tuesday 23rd April.
:j
My sister H cooked every day and as she produces such delicious food, I only had fresh fruit for the rest of each day for breakfast, lunch and snacks.I was unable to do my exercises there because there were no devices for me to play my exercise DVD's on. None of the laptops had a DVD drive, so I could not afford to have a cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
I did not gain or lose any weight on this visit, but there were so may food and drink temptations that I just had to stop myself from consuming. I even left my Thortons Easter Egg there intact.
19 members of the family came to eat, drink, laugh and talk together for Easter Monday at my sister H's house. We all had so much fun together. :j:D:T
My friend A and her man came to visit me and take me to lunch in Birmingham, which was such a lovely surprise0 -

I have just booked our 10-day summer break: a cottage in Austria for the four of us for €465! Close to Hohe Tauern national park and Zell am See. We will make the trip there and back over two days, doing some sightseeing inbetween; I hope to visit Neuschwannstein castle (on which Disney based Cinderella's castle)Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590

Siebrie that sounds like a fantastic family holiday.
My Champagne moment on Tuesday was having a woman say to me 'Hey sexy mama' when I was on my way to Karaoke.
My Champagne moment yesterday was receiving a phone call from my older daughter that lasted almost 4 hours. :j0 -
"sexy Mama". :rotfl: well done;).
siebre......your holiday sounds lovely. And a real bargain.
Well I'm living quietly at the moment. I haven't been out much or done anything exciting this week but I'm very happy just pottering about and doing my own thing. My champagne moments have all been quiet domestic ones. But that's fine.
May and June are going to be very busy so it's nice to have a bit of quiet time.
My weight loss journey is going very well. I can see my body shape and my face changing. I look much better and I feel great. Still a lot of knee pain and some backache so I've booked a massage for Monday.
I bought a load of plants and shrubs yesterday so will hopefully be getting those in the garden over the next couple of days. I also picked up a couple of nice dresses (next size down) from the chazzer..
Great champagne moment being able to buy smaller sized clothes.:D0
