Cathedral retail car park - Norwich

I’ve recieved a letter from Debt Recovery Plus for an unpaid parking charge of £130.
The parking charge date was 27/07/18. It’s now 10/11/18.
It is a notice of intended court action, yet I haven’t received any other correspondence at all & am not given the option to appeal or anything?
Something just doesn’t seem right? Is there anything I can do please? Many thanks

    Hi and welcome.

You need to read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to better understand the game you are now playing.

Post #4 of that thread offers comprehensive guidance on how to deal with debt collectors' letters.

In summary it says "ignore debt collectors' letters".

Is the address of the Registered Keeper correct on the vehicle's Registration Document?

    Which parking firm?

Smart Parking have form for missing out a PCN and going straight to DRP letters, and Steve Clark at the BPA has a list of complaints about them doing that.

If it is Smart, or another BPA firm (NOT AN IPC FIRM!), email Mr Clark a complaint:

    steve.c@britishparking.co.uk

There is no IPC equivalent as the IPC don't make it easy for consumers to contact them and complain.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
