Is it worth paying a cancellation fee and rebook them?

XL.COM......dodgy I know but cheapest price....

    Can't cancel as its 100% cancellation fee...oh well...you win some...lose some......

When in Florida last year a couple paid £800 more for the same holiday as we were on....same flights and hotel.......

XL air are ok, we flew to tenerife with them in January, it was a good flight and we got a meal on it, as a rule of thumb charterflights are best left until nearer the time, they invariably will come down, book scheduled flights early as the cheaper seats go first.

If you wonder how many seats there are left, key in the maximum, for example I have just booked with jet2 to Paris for £12 when I keyed in 9 seats it showed £34 so I knew there weren't many cheap £12 seats left.

It is annoying I know when they come down, and I can't resist checking myself after I have booked.

Another good idea, we are going to Belfast next week, we purchased the flights before christmas. i wanted 6 seats. 2 seats was coming up at 50p but when i put 6 seats in they were £7.99 so i just. did 6 seats, £7.99 5 seats £7.99 4 seats 50p. so they must have only had 4 seats left in the 50p price bracket, i purchased these, then did the next 2 at £7.99. As this was for family and i was booking this i just divided the total by 6 people. So before booking have a mess around with numbers.

I've just read reviews on XL.com around the various sites......airlinequality.com and carsurvey.org etc and they are a mixed bag......some good/some bad.......

As for the price, its annoying.....but the way it goes I suppose.....they were cheaper that Iberia and the likes anyways....

Have a nice time in Malaga.
