I am not GameModapk i'm not sure what that's about. The only one my council offers is house exchange.
After discussing this with my husband i have decided to for out the £12 for home swapper. I would be grateful if anyone could keep an ear out for anyone living their social house or possible swappers0 -
I realised after its a spam account
Goodluck finding a swap. Also use homeswapper facebook groups.0 -
I’m currrntly registered with House Exchange & Glassbob. I registered yesterday for home swapper but you have to pay £12 for 3 months, this is difficult on a single income.
If you can't afford £12. How are you going to pay the rent on a bigger property? Will the council let you swap to a property you can't afford?0 -

I am registered and I am actively looking however it’s extremely difficult what with my only having a 1 bed property with no outside space.
With regards to the council list we were on band C for 5 years as soon as I had my son I was told we would be overcrowded and would move to priority band B1 however they did not tell me that it would move me to the bottom on the list and reset my registration date for both bands so now I’m forced to wait again. As I have 2 little ones, pets and need a parking space it’s so hard to find a property with 4 bed spaces that’s lifted or ground floor that allows pets with possible outside space.
I didn’t think about the housing officer so I will try this as private is not an option I cannot afford nearly 2k rent a month plus bills.
i appreciate your situation, i deal with this on a daily basis, but, you are going to need to make some sacrifices if you need the space, or if you want all what you have mentioned, then you need to go private
do you receive housing benefit? are you or your partner working? various factors will mean if you get a larger portion of Local Housing Allowance if you went privately rented, which may not mean paying extra for a property or not.
Homeswapper i believe you register, put in your landlord details, and they then activate your account - never heard of a charge for this service before. make sure it is a legit site before handing over any billing information

Homeswapper is not free for everyone. Only for those who have a social landlord who has agreed to participate. For me, it took less than 6 months to find an exchange but I really had to work at it and do lots of work searching, emailing, looking on google maps and walking round areas myself. It was free for me but I'd have thought £24 good value.0

Hi,
As you want to stay local it might be worth putting a few cards in shop windows asking if anyone locally is looking for a mutual exchange downsize. Obviously take care and if you don’t want to give out your phone number you could ask them to please look at your listing on the swapping site if interested.0
