Car repairs advice

  • OP sorry for your problems.
    However.....

If I was a boss I would have issue with a deputy manager not coming to work because of transport issue. I would expect a senior employee to have the initiative to find a way to get in.

Also the three days have counted towards annual leave. How is this not fair? Should one expect compassionate leave for three days and still have the same annual leave entitlement?

Fair enough the verbal warning seems harsh. But just ignore that. It's probably a way of saying manage it differently next time.

Sorry for the devil's advocate point of view.
    Hope your car gets fixed.
    Regards
