I've got a 200 points WYS £20 and a double points coupon but i wondered if there would be any extra points available.Would be gutted if I bought it and then discovered later extra points!!
Hi, according to Boots Customer Services the DS Lites are discontinued in store, I know the website doesn't say 'online only' which I think is really wrong, I was saving up my points (buying things I didn't really need to get extra points!) to find a store with one in and buy it with those, so rang CS to ask which one has them in and they said none do as they are discontinued in stores.
If you have seen some in store, would you mind telling me which store it was in please?0 -

500 points when you buy a gillette champion stealth girft pack (picture is of a set in a box)
and 100 points when you buy a gillette fusion stealth body spray.
Any one know how much these cost?
Sugar xxx
£13.23 (originally £19.99 with a 3rd off at the moment)
£2.18 the body spray
I had my vouchers bleep at the till this morning, the SA trotted off to ask her supervisor, who said she'd add the points on if I went over to her after I had paid. Ok I says.
I get over to the supervisor who promptly says I can't have the points cos the items are on offer (ie 3rd off the gift set and body sprays were on 3 for 2 so I bought 3 and she claims the one I should have had the points on was the free one ).
I ask whats the point in Boots sending out vouchers to use when SA's wont let me use them and got a refund cos I only bought them cos I had points vouchers. They lost a £23 sale.
I feel a call to CS coming on.:mad:0 -

Hi, I'm really not sure what to suggest, have never had any experience of this myself. It might be worth ringing the store, but make sure you have the name of the person you speak to, when I've rang Boots before they have had a habit of changing their mind even after I've been told the same thing by more than one person beforehand!
Good luck with the exchange!0 -
bed shaped: they are only £9.99 in my store, big signs in front of the display saying £9.99 and it is definately the right one.

I took back a cot purchased online to a store that didn't sell cots. They refused to take it, however when I rang CS they stated that the store should have taken it as it would be cheaper for them than sending a courier to collect. I'm sure they told me that the store should accept all online returns. I would take it back and if you don't get anywhere ring CS from the store.0 -
hiya, just foned local store, they said they'll take it back if it scans on their tills, so fair enough away to try it.lol
tell you how i get on later.............lolmy boots and tesco addictions are costing me a fortune

Wow well that's interesting I'll be looking out for thatI am definitely going to try again in a different store. Is this the pack you saw? http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1090068&classificationid=1040545
I just called CS who said they will take it up with the store in question (West Bromwich btw for those who are thinking of trying it there - its probably best to try somewhere else) they added 500 points onto my card for the inconvenience and apologised. They said I could try again in another store and if it didn't work, to still purchase the items and phone them up again to have the points added on.. so I'll see what happens tomorrow in a different store and let you all know.
I'd be interested to see if anyone is able to use these vouchers without having to have the points added on automatically.0 -

I had also been saving my points to get a DS Lite for an October birthday and in the end rang Boots CS to tell me which stores had them in stock. None!! And they couldn't promise they would come back before Christmas either. So in the end I ordered mine from Tesco, ordered it online as part of a grocery delivery and used one of the discount codes floating around at the time. They still sell them at Tesco for £96.xx. If you want a package, Argos may be a good choice, they have offers on with various games etc.
I bought a case for it in Woolworths for only £4.99, they have a choice of colours but were kept behind the counter in my store, so had to ask for them. In Argos I only saw black cases. HTH.
