I have an email with no name also so I could use that possibly.
Just create a new gmail throwaway email address, with a convoluted name, just for dealing with this parking charge, then when it's all, over, dispose of it.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks guys sorry I am using my phone so it is difficult to both type and look into the newbies faq forum. Once I'm home I will use my pc to make it easier.
Yes it's definitely their car parks as they use the same gallan car park sign on all of them.

am I missing something which template do I use can someone provide me the link or copy and paste it
But Keith gave you a link to the NEWBIES thread already.

You can read it and find the SINGLE template appeal sitting there for you to copy & paste. We are certainly not reading it for you!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Thanks I will do it once I'm on my pc to look for the template . Do I need to send my appeal within the 14 days reduced discount period or will it be okay within the 28 days payment demand period?

Complaint to Gallen and the BPA. From their Code
    *************
18.11 Where there is any change in the terms and conditions that materially affects the motorist then you should make these clear on your signage. Where such changes impose liability where none previously existed then you should consider a grace period to allow regular visitors to the site to adjust and familiarise themselves with the changes.
    **********************
You might just get them sanctioned.

That is key to your appeal, and any furhter actiocontract you may want to take, As far as im aware one of the key parts to PPCs being able to access RK data from the DVLA under the keeper on day of event, is abiding by their trade associations code of practice.
if they dont then it could be argued they shouldnt have access to a RKs data.
The question about who owns the car park, relates to the fact that the car park owner - ie the principal is jointly and severally liable for the actions of its agents, the parking company.
So pressure should be applied to the car park owner as well.

p.s, Is your name Hassan, and were you born in 1980? if it is then you should use an anonymous username.
ts not a huge issue if it is, as you have some good grounds to go on.
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"
  • Hi thanks I now understand and have seen the template - I know everyone has mentioned about admission and using any words such as "I parked" etc - the only thing as I explained I rang them the next day as I honestly thought it was a mistake at first ( before the information came to light about the increased cost) and talked about what had happened after parking. Will this cause problems later on for me as I am now going to appeal it using the template mentioned before by everybody

Make sure you DO NOT blab about who was driving though in any appeal or complaint!

A tiny firm like this lot is almost certain to have failed to use the POFA to hold a keeper liable, so a keeper appellant holds the winning hand that MUST NOT be discarded in the rush to complaint/appeal.

That's why you need to read the NEWBIES THREAD first...

...and why you need to urgently EDIT and DELETE sentences in your post that tell the world ''I parked''!!
