Could anyone please give me any feedback on BE (be there), I have been told by someone that its excellent, but I wonder if any of you have tried it and also think the same.
Thanks.
Thanks.

We moved to them from NTL/Virgin about 8 months ago. They were wonderful to start with; they've had a couple of occasions in recent months when the service has been down for a day or so (maybe because they became more popular and couldn't cope with demand?), but all in all I'd still recommend them. We're not considering moving from them at this stage.0

Thanks very much for your reply, i'm with Tiscali and not at all happy with them, so I shall be changing over.0

Hi would also recommend Bethere and in 10 months have not had any problems, it was also confirmed yesterday that it will be staying seperate from 02 so all good.*Steve*

I recommend having a look in the ThinkBroadband forums and remember that o2 and Be are two o2 businesses operating over the same infrastructure but each with their own sales/support teams and pricing models.

I've had been considering Be but after a 7 working day disastrous flirtation with AOL (Laptop bribe), with my line ADSL free, and my mobile on non-O2 PAYG, just as o2 launched I decided to go with them as 100-day moneyback guarantee and have been with them 9 happy days so far. Don't forget quidco.com cashback opportunities too!
Oh and o2 allow you to move once per 12 months too which seems very generous to me.0 -
Yes there was talk of the Be name disappearing and all being 02 but was confirmed that although using the same network will run as seperate ISP's and slightly different packages.*Steve*

I was looking at a new isp a couple of weeks ago.
I was going to change from tesco to o2 then i discovered o2 not in my area yet.
So, i was going to change to be - and they are not in my area yet either!
Then i was going to change to someone else, but i forget the name, and they are not in my area yet!

Unfortunately for you, O2 own Be and run on their network, hence why they are both not available. I believe they have about 50% coverage so you are not the only one.

You can use SamKnows as a good/quick way to check WHICH broadband providers have their equipment at your exchange.

Don't forget to check any cashback sites too - eg Quidco.com were offering £55 for Be and £25 for o2 Broadband.0
