Ive sold a item on Ebay today worth £43 to the above postcode. Boxed size is 35x35x30cm
It seams as this is a RAF base no couriers will deliver to there. If anyone has ever been in this situation can you please confirm if RM is the only option for delivery? Mainly as I offer free postage which if im having to pay RM prices will eat intot he small profit I made.
Kind regards

That postcode will only get delivered to the BFPO postal service at Mill Hill where it will get transferred to the military postal system.
The post code is RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus
I think RM is your only option

Cancel the order on the basis there is an issue with the address - I get messed around with BFPO users like this and they have no idea how to address their mail - I cancel, refund and block.0

BFPO addresses have been replaced with BF1 addresses. They have provided a correct address

Not for couriers, did you read the OP?0 -
You can use Parcelforce for £9 & send from the Post Office
We actually block all PO Boxes on eBay UK & AFPO on eBay.com

It`s a shame you cant block BFPO addresses. I only sell in UK and this couple are in Cyprus!0

There is a list of couriers and carriers in here that work with the British Forces Post Office, shame that none of you want to support your armed forces, it's hard enough when deployed without you lot "Oh lets block BFPO cos we won't make as much profit" well sometimes that parcel you order makes life more tolerable, and that address your blocking is a loved one sending something out to you.0 -

As an example, a small parcel that would cost £2.80 in the UK costs £5.50 to a BFPO address. For a high value item there could be enough margin to cover this, but for a low value product it could mean going to the trouble of sending something for nothing or in some cases losing money.
It's all very well supporting the military, but if sending parcels is more expensive who should be paying for this?0
