The only advice I could offer is to start keeping a log of events.
Every time he belittles you openly, you need to record it, time, date, who was present, etc., etc., given your comments, it's hardly unlikely you're going to gain support from your colleagues.
Bullying in the workplace is not unlawful, victimisation is, it's for YOU to prove you've been victimised.
There are specific cases where recording equipment maybe acceptable with an ET claim, i.e. if it's the only way you can obtain evidence, you'll have to seek specialist advice on this, preferably, from an employment solicitor, most certainly, not from here!!!

Is your relationship such that you can have a quiet personal word with your team leader? It would be good to know that the situation has been observed and how other people see it.But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Sorry about the late reply I have worked there since 2014 HR and my Team leader interviewed me for the role and gave me the job normally the TL does our appraisals.
I just want to do my job and get along with everyone.
On friday my manager approached me and asked me to come out of the KPI as he needs to get in the system.
I told him i am not on the computer it is off i was sweeping he went to his office then 5 mins later was shouting at me (infront of the staff) get out the KPIs i will not tell you again.
I'm having trouble following what the chain of events are.
Manger asked you to come out of KPI - but you were sweeping? As in pushing a broom or looking through data? Were you logged into a computer providing KPI system preventing manager from accessing it?
Manager then shouted at you to get out the KPIs - as in print off a copy? or do a report? or log out of the KPI system as they have already asked you to? Whilst shouting is never a professional thing to do as a manager, if you are failing to follow simple instructions for whatever reason, I can guess your manager might be getting to the end of their tether.
I think it would help other readers a lot if you used more punctuation as your sentences seem to run into each other.Originally Posted by shortcrust

DOnt know about legality but bring your phone to future meetings with voice recorder on. You prob wont be able to use it to get him in trouble but if he denies saying something you can show everyone that he is a liar0

It sounds like your manager doesn't really like you and wants you to leave. I think you should probably speak to him about this directly, just say that you have noticed he gets angry at you easily, you just want to do your job and ask if there is something you can do. I wouldn't hold much hope or resolving this, but it might help.
Still, if you manager is likely to stay around for a long time, you'll probably have to find another job and leave. You seem like a nice person who has tried hard, but once your manager wants you gone, that's pretty much it. You may never know the reason he took such a dislike to you.0 -
I get the impression manager sees OP as being beneath him, and is distraught that the person supposedly beneath him has the same qualification as him.0

Ok my error i should have made it more clearer.
I was sweeping by my desk with a broom when the manager came upto me and shouted get out of the KPIs.
But i was not in the KPIs my computer was switched off as i was getting ready to go home.
He was shouting at me to log out of the KPIs i have already told you.
I was not in them.
I told him i am not logged into the KPIs my computer is switched off i pointed to the monitor so he could see that.
I have spoken to my TL she says to me to tell HR.0 -

My TL exact words you need to see HR0

I'd be ignoring her. There's no sign she's got your back. A decent TL would do it for you.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000
