Try auction, or price it right with an EA.
Quick buy companies will pay much less, and are likely to drop the price again during the process, prob near to exchange.
I notice this reply has received 3 likes (4 including mine) but to add my thoughts I'd say that this is a well known cynical ploy and I've been told that this is EXACTLY what "We buy any cars" do. They use this ploy in the exact way as this poster describes and this has been told to me by a first hand account. With respect, what you describe is entirely different from the sort of buisness the OP mentions.
Yes I agree the model is completely different. There's people who do that here as well they buy, add value and sell or keep and they don't specifically go looking on people in a vulnerable situation such as people who are behind with a mortgage
Part of their modus operandi is to ask lots of background questions creating the false impression that they're concerned and helpful but in reality they're looking to find just how vulnerable and desperate you really are to sell and use this information to leverage your situation to their maximum financial advantage
As others have said the simplest way to get a fast sale is to price it right with an estate agent or an auction house, you could specify you require a fast cash sale and you could even specify that you require a non refundable deposit. Although this type of contract is generally not liked by good solicitors it is perfectly legal and doable after all this is exactly what the legal principles of a property auction are.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. However, even when some people are staring into the abyss, they don't become motivated enough. Rightmove sold prices, show two vendors should have accepted our offers. The third did. She's now much wealthier than us.

I'd class 3 properties we put offers on as having 'well motivated' vendors.
However, even when some people are staring into the abyss, they don't become motivated enough. Rightmove sold prices, show two vendors should have accepted our offers. The third did. She's now much wealthier than us.

Yes there's motivated sellers everywhere and often people seem to have unrealistic expectations about house prices. Price is a very difficult thing to exactly work out with houses for instance I think I might have overpaid for the house I'm currently discussing.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. There is a house that I had been looking at - It had been on the market for quite a long while at £250K and eventually sold for £215K. New owner fitted a new kitchen and redecorated throughout (in shades of grey). One year on, up for sale again at £335K :eek:
