Aren't all airport duty free the same?
Burgas Bulgaria certainly is.
Still cheaper than UK, But a hefty mark up to local all shops etc0 -
For last minute cigs and booze at Tenerife South buy from the shop before security, somehow they are more expensive in the duty free shop.

I was a bit (but not much) remiss in mentioning Corfu airport - there is no such thing as Duty Free if you are travelling within the EU.
Still, there was no excuse for the rip off prices they charged airside in the "Duty Free" section.
I wonder what revised prices UK airport DF shops will charge for alcohol etc. as of 30/03/2019 - probably the only benefit of Brexit ?0 -

He said it was more expensive in the duty free shop in the airport, than locally. And I replied saying isn't that always the case?
And he must've visited the airport store, otherwise how would he know the price???0 -

Ok maybe he didn't visit the store, although in my experience, you have no choice but to walk through the duty free on the way to departures. They want to try and tempt you!!! But you are correct in saying other ways to find price.
But my other point stands.
