So I actually did do an update but silly me managed to delete it, then couldn't face typing it out again!
Really frustrated with work - I've been paid wrong and now owe them money back!! This is despite me ringing payroll about 3 times to double/triple check as it felt like I was being paid more than I thought. But anyway, can't change it now, so it's going to be a leaner few months whilst that gets paid back. Plus a few extra house expenses (sofa bed so we can have more guests to stay etc!)....slightly over budget the past couple of months ooops!. Still overpaying by over 500/mo though, so not all bad.
Anyway, balance end of Jan was 204 200. Hitting 203 000 end of Feb.
Now we need to keep this momentum, stop buying expensive house stuff and get on a better food and ents budget for the next few months to keep up the OP.

Wow, you have been going great guns looking at your signature.

I think I'm on track to hit your end of 2019 goal in about 4 years currently. I'm hoping to get there faster, but need to pay off debts first.
Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
    % of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%

End of Feb and the balance was just a smidge over £203 000, interest has now been added so that's taken it back up again, BUT.... So excited that with our regular OP set up we will just dip below £202 000 at the end of this month! I CANNOT WAIT to smash below the 200s now though, only a couple of months away!!
Trying to get a bit more on top of budgeting, especially groceries and household stuff, and looking to do some extra shifts for a few more pennies to go towards some life goals (holidays, house bits) as well as the mortgage. I'll keep you updated!

Well done on mortgage balance yay :) Thought I'd come over and find your thread - I think you must be the most similar on here to me in terms of mortgage size and age so it was really nice to read your diary so far.

I really like your ambitious goals for the next 5 years and I think its totally achievable :)

So, slowly getting there, and creeping towards <£200000. I'll hit that once regular payment+regular OP goes out the end of this month. Struggling a bit with the income side of the equation at the moment - my side gig is looking less certain, and hubby is currently on the great job hunt. Just keeping fingers crossed for the time being.
