I can see you are not going to be very helpful, but just keep repeating the same thing, which is of no help.

So perhaps someone else could advise me on what I should say/do when contacting them about making a reasonable payment that they cannot refuse, that's all I am asking.

No-one on here can help you, this now has nothing to do with parking, it is more akin to contempt of court.

A company said you owed them money, you ignored them, they went to court, the court gave you the opportunity to contest the claim, and you ignored the court. It gives me no pleasure to say this, but you have brought this upon yourself, so stop blaming others.

You can ignore the CCJ if you wish, about 40% of all recipients do, but you can kiss your credit rating goodbye. Possibly no mobile phone, no car hire, no car insurance, no house insurance. Perhaps a County Court Writ, later, when costs have trebled, a High Court Writ. I suggest you offer £10 a month.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I have already said I have no problem with credit ratings, they do not bother me because I don't buy on credit, ever, I am not in debt with anyone, just needed advice on what I should do about payment, which I have previously stated several times now, but it seems nobody wants to read what I have posted and just keep on repeating the same thing, where have I blamed anyone?, I already know it is my fault, seems all you want to do is make me feel even worse which is of no help to me is it, when I have clearly asked that all I want to do is make a reasonable payment and what would be an acceptable payment to make.
Finally you make a suggestion, which I will contact them and ask if it will be acceptable, thank you, that's all I needed to know.

please step back and look at the post made earlier ....

"Sad that it is, this has really progressed beyond being a parking issue.

Perhaps the best place for help is now The Debt-Free Wannabe Board

where there are experts on how to manage debt with limited finances."

When you are on limited funds and suffering with disabilities and depression, these and many other things get ignored and overlooked, plus the medications I am on don't help when it comes to keeping up to date and keep on top of things.
Believe me, I know. You have no idea - and I won't go into it here, but I know.

I was going to come back here (I thought of this and your case last night) and suggest that because you are on ESA and suffering from depression, why don't you put in the set aside the CCJ on that basis (your medical condition meant you need a bit more time to acknowledge the claim and defend it, and you have good prospects of winning if the court allows you to defend).

You might well find a 'set aside' application is free for you, due to your ESA, so it's a no brainer to try:

    https://www.gov.uk/get-help-with-court-fees

You will need to read the NEWBIES thread section on set asides. You need to fill in a N244 and attach a Witness Statement like on other set aside threads, and a draft order asking for any enforcement to be put on hold...

This can be done and on reflection when I thought about your benefits and low income and depression, I decided you may as well apply to set it aside. Most people have to pay £255 but I reckon you will not. So try!

Here is a good thread to read:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5766296/gladstone-letter-before-claim&page=3

... it shows the Draft Order and Witness Statement to use (change to make sense for your case details and add your own facts in the Witness Statement - but leave the dates xx/xx/18 on the Draft Order, blank, because it is for the Judge to Order...).

Then you will need our help to defend it...so I'd take a step back if I were you because we are the ones you will need.

Can I suggest you please delete your post above as we can help you. I wasn't being flippant about your case.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
