I'm lost without my Microsoft Money. It looks like I wont be able to use it anymore. Trialling something else but only just started adding details.
I have been paid for my overtime and I am now on a weeks leave. Apart from Monday which is another overtime shift of 12.5 hours. Paid £12.59 from PA this morning. Haven't spent anything for a few days. Started uploading shopping receipts but don't get that many. They are mostly DS2 receipts for snacks he buys with his pocket money.
Collected a new to me Hoover today via Olio. I have a Henry but he hasn't been picking up really well recently. DS2 had just hoovered before I got home with it. So I tested it out over where he had been. I filled the container only doing the lounge and hall way. So obviously Henry is more poorly than I thought. Usual food collected via Olio and also three books.

Now on leave for five days. No real plans apart from sort accommodation, clothes and book hair appointments for a wedding we are going to in early August. Taking DS1 for an MRI this morning because he twisted his knee about a week ago, they think he has ligament damage.
Overtime shift worked yesterday and agreed to do another one next week. All our staff are either going sick or have family members with problems. I think it's the aftermath of the autumn/winter months of Covid. Staff have worked so hard they are just exhausted. They can't keep working at such the pace and stress that they have been. So whilst I am mentally and reasonable physically strong I will try and help out.
I seem to have bits of money coming in from all over the place, frustratingly I can't keep a record of it very well without MS money. It's back to pen and paper at the moment. I'm a bit worried that I wont be so motivated with the saving if I can't see everything in one place.
Payments from GreenJinn, Shopmium, wages and PA this past couple days. Adding the few receipts I get for purchasing the items from GreenJinn and Shopmium to the three receipt apps I have. Not going to make me a millionnaire but it pay for a few bits and it soon adds up.Without overpayments: 15 years, 1 monthsBecause of overpayments: 10 years, 10 months left until paid off1 -

I can understand your frustration though, as i have all our finances on it, and would be lost without.2 -
Thanks @v1ckyt - Have you got a Chrome book? It was Sunset Deluxe I was using on my old computer. I'm just a bit lost to be honest.
I don't even care if I loose the old information. I did even buy a disc several years ago but can't find it. I will ask my DS1 to see if he can figure it out.
DS1 received a call from the hospital to say could he attend an appointment today. He has caused so much damage that he has to have an op. on Friday to fix it. Snapped the two cruciate ligements and ACL in his left knee. We are all self isolating at home. We have managed to pack some of his uni digs up but there is still more to do. He has to hand it back over on Tuesday next week. Not sure what to do. I could collect his stuff in his room but I don't know what belongs to him in the kitchen.
I did splash out on chippy chips for us all tonight because I couldn't face cooking. I now have what seems like DS1 whole wardrobe and linen to wash. Also need to find a home for all his belongings. Spent £9 on parking for three visits at the hospital this past week.

Ah - the 'joys' of offspring returning from uni.....😄

The hospital has decided that DS1 has to stay in hospital tonight. He was a bit emotional when he rang just after the operation. He says the older patients are looking after him though and he got an extra yogurt at tea time, lol. Can't wait to get him home.
I transferred half of my savings (£1,000) for next years over payment to Premium Bonds tonight. It doesn't look like I will eligible for the draw until September though. I will put another £1,000 on pay day, 23rd July. I think it's going to be difficult for me to take it out at the end of the year to overpay the mortgage. I can always start adding to it for the end of 2022 over payment when I have to remortgage.
I have eight vases, jam jars and old candle jars of Olio flowers in my small two bedroom bungalow. I even have them in my bathroom, hallway and DS2's bedroom. I have yellow, white, pink and red, roses, peonies, carnations, lilies and chrysanthemums. The peonies are from my collections last week and no one requested them!
PA was fairly busy tonight so done about £6 worth of studies.
I have decided to spend the money that I get from the water company on doing up my DS2 bedroom. I have contacted an electrician to add a couple of news sockets and sink the light switch, he will have a smaller wardrobe and a bedside table. I need to still organise the carpet to be cleaned, choose the paint (looking for a pale wedgewood blue) and a new bed. Have decided he can have a small double. I am going to push the boat out and employ someone to do the decorating for me, it's only a fairly small room. I will also buy new curtains and quilt covers.

DS1 came out of hospital last night with three different pain killers. He has been catching up with his sleep since.
Spent a bit of money on some treats for both the boys and some pop for me. My addiction is Diet Coke at this time of the year but I have been really good so far. Probably around 4 cans all year. I did buy a litre bottle of £1.
£2.50 earned from PA. Lots have people have used my Echo referral. Four in total, it's very nice but seems strange that there was four so close together. Maybe people were worried I didn't have enough knickers, lol.
I am trying to clear all DS1 uni items, it's seems an endless task. I usually ask him to take it up to the attic. That wont be happening for a while.
Olio still going really well, lots of food items over the weekend.
Edit: My referral has Echo in it. They changed the name to Lloyds, maybe they are catching up with the people that have used the Echo one.Without overpayments: 15 years, 1 monthsBecause of overpayments: 10 years, 10 months left until paid off2 -
DS is moving about much easier and is not needing to take the maximum of painkillers now. I have told my supervisor that I can go back to work on Friday. His younger brother is home so if he has any issues he can help or call me to sort out.
I completed a Popul survey today and got to the payment threshold. It seems that it should be paid at the end of August. It's my first time reaching the threshold so will wait and see. The £50 will go to my nieces and her partner's for their wedding present.
Pay day on Thursday both for contract and bank shifts. Looking forward to doing the money shuffle.
Pret pastries via Olio for breakfast this morning. Not sure on lunch but we will be having Olio mash and veg with student sausages, no they are not made from students, they were left in the student accommodation.
I'm considering reducing the term of my mortgage. It's currently 12 years and 2 months. Was playing about online yesterday and my mortgage provider lets me do it online and charges a £75 fee. Just weighing up the idea to see if it is worth it. I am sure they wont let me reduce it as much as I want to because of affordability checks.Without overpayments: 15 years, 1 monthsBecause of overpayments: 10 years, 10 months left until paid off1
