  • "Alex Wilson" from "England Claim Services", 0161 4643145 called my brother, who has a learning disability. He said he could get him a refund of £1,826.40, but he had to sign up to a new insurance product first. My brother gave his bank details, and a direct debit in favour of AIG Insurance was set up. Fortunately we managed to get the DD cancelled before any money was taken. I have reported "England Claims Services" to Action Fraud. This site won't let me post the link - Action Fraud is a police website, I am now reporting all phishing attempts I receive by phone, because my brother has too often been taken for a mug. He has a learning disability, and is very trusting. It's not nice that I am having to teach him to be suspicious, it makes me so angry.

    Just got the exact same call today, when asked which company the PPI "refund" was coming from they hung up
