These cards are an absolute pain, you can’t use them many places & you must know how much is on each card you present as the cashiers have to know to charge up to that amount.

Haven’t spent last years card and they will start charging £12 a year in 6 months as I’ve not used the card. I can ask them to pay the money to my bank but they will charge £7.50.
Can’t be used on Amazon, can’t be used for part payment online.

I’ve £120 in one4all prepay cards but can’t use to buy the item I want online at John Lewis as it’s more than the value of each card.

You end up carrying the card around but can never use it.

If you do spend it try and spend all at once as you’ll likely never get the change off it.

T’s & c’s change next year so hopefully I can use that change to sidestep their charges so that i can the cash off.

    Really hate these cards.

They seem to have largely disappeared from many shops now anyway. This is a very old thread.

Someone (IIRC, someone on here last year) suggested to use them to make a payment to your gas/electricity supplier, it'll be credited against your next bill so in effect you're gaining the cash in your bank account.

Spending on utilities is a great idea, so long as they see one of the retailers one4all work with, it’s a pre pay visa but not accepted universally.

Would be great if I could Send direct to my bank account or onto PayPal.

@Born again, I had 1 several years back that I put on Amazon, but as I originally intimated they no longer work on Amazon.

I can’t even buy store vouchers with them.

This thread is old but people are still giving out these things and the recipients are still struggling. Have a read of the trust pilot reviews.

One4all isn't a prepaid Visa/MasterCard. It's a multi-retailer Gift Card, similar to Love2Shop, that is only accepted at specific retailers listed on the One4all Web site.

One4all conflate their card with prepaid visa's and specifically mention to not select the gift card option when paying online or instore

    https://www.one4all.com/spend-online

Remember, use your One4all Gift Card as a prepaid Visa Debit Card. Do not choose ‘Gift Voucher’ or ‘Gift Card’ at checkout. Also please keep your One4all Gift Card in case of returns or refunds.

keying in the long number, sites recognise it as a visa card. the card even has a cvv on it.

in fact it is a single use pre paid visa card!!

Totally lost faith in Trust pilot as you tend to only find the wingers rating & not a balanced review of a company.
Eg First Direct who score 1* yet get awards for great customer service year after year.

Ok, I guess you only appreciate positive reviews.

Be warned about one4all and pre paid visas in general.

No, I like to see a true view. When you see nothing but bad and you know a company is better than that. It makes a joke of review sites.

Tend to steer clear of pre-paid cards, unless they are offered as a incentive.
