I use the 50 pages per month at £1.99 and never use more than a dozen per month. Can I lower my plan to 15 per month
https://instantink.hpconnected.com/uk/en
On the right it says "Change Plan" On mine I can only downgrade to 50 pages per month. If you're on 50 pages per month perhaps you can downgrade to 15 pages per month (but I think not...)If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -

Postage labels, colouring pages & timesheets but mostly use for scanning"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0 -
Works well enough for me.
The shipping of cartridges is very effective (they come from Holland). They always arrive well in advance of being needed, and I usually have spare colour cartridges (3) all the time, with an XL black being sent as the old one runs out.
It doesn't cost any more for 4-cartridge Instant Ink than it does for 2-cartridge.
I print a fair amount - postage labels, letters, etc. and my printer also has a document feeder for photocopying which I sometimes use.0 -

No, once you use a paid tier plan you can't downgrade to free plan. You can only start on free plan and remain on it, paying for excess pages. T&C's specify this
You can buy a new printer for as little as £20 though and start the free plan on that printer. Cheaper to buy printer and throw away than pay for cartridges0 -
That is a good idea, will give it thought when I'm back in UK.
PS. I'm thinking I could live without a printer now. Once back in the UK, I won't need to print off etickets, hotel etc.three times a year as I won't be flying again. £24 a year on ink that I won't need etc. Plus I would benefit from the space the printer takes up. For those that are wanting to drop from a paid plan to the free 15 page plan:
Cancel your instant ink plan from your online HP account and wait for the contract period to expire. On your printer, disable web services. If you then re-enable them you'll get a different printer claim code which should then allow you to subscribe to the 15 page plan for free.0 -
