This is actually a licencing issue within Nimbus' data partner. They allow us three months of these outlines for free, enabling us to give Essentials for free, after that we can no longer display the red outlines, instead adding dark red 'pins' with an L in the centre. All the data is still there, just not the red boundary.
You can buy the official HM Land Registry documents through us to have a copy of the legal documents.
The way to get them back would be to switch to a paid-for subscription, but this is not really designed for single searches (for homeowners, as an example), more for those whose profession is property, property investment, development etc., so worth having a paid-for service.
I hope this helps?
Adam
Hi Adam - That all makes sense thank you, thats a shame but at least I know why now - not really worth me buying the paid service as I don't use this that often (I am just homeowner looking at moving and finding info out)...
Thanks for the swift reply and detailed explanation - Nice to see web site owners on here represinting Q&A

No problem - happy to help and 'educate'. Yeah, I would not suggest you get Elite, not worth the cost for what you need.
Just out of interest, would you be interested in what I am nicknaming a 'Homeowners Owners' report (almost a home MOT I suppose) - this is just conceptual right now but would be designed for people buying homes, consumers as it were? We have all this data we sit on and there is loads in there that would be suitable... we don't really have a product like this right now you see and I think there could be some serious interest.

Hi Adam - I think if I was in a position of having chosen a home and serious about moving, such a product would be of interest for sure. Perhaps you could have a "taster" option that can be generated by anyone registered who are just looking (cut down), and a more detailed option for people who have found a place in mind.Mortgage Free Wannabe Light Bulb Moment (Early 2012, started May 2012)

I think we will end up doing something like that perhaps - certainly provide an example of what would be covered in the report so you can see what it is.
By the way, we have just added in the ability to view the OS Mastermap in our Essentials version - all free for three months. It's a de-cluttered map view showing site boundaries and the buildings on a site/plot.
Take a look.
