appeal WON. though I did take the easy option and payed £10 for Tony Taylor to fight my case.
I know with your help I could of delt with it myself but I just did not want the hassle so I used the services on "fight your parking ticket" on FB".. I know £10 is £10 but that particular week I won £35 on the lotto so I see it as £10 well spent.....
thank you to those who advised here...………….0 -
Tony Taylor makes my blood boil.

Tony Taylor eh? Meanwhile the volunteers on this site do the job for free. Yep, there's the oft-stated 'read the Newbies' thread!!!' but that means we end up feeling all the more jubilant when we do win, empowered even. With the massive bonus of not feeding the parasites.
I expect you're a busy chap steve mind, and I'm glad things worked out for you for a tenner. But if there is a next time I hope you choose to keep your money out of the hands of such people.0 -
Well done OP. I wonder what a judge would think when a hard working taxi driver gets dunned for £100 for helping out a disabled passenger use the shopping centre facilities.
I know it is done and dusted, but cause the PPC some grief, complain to your union and your MP and write bad stuff on the shopping centre Facebook page and their website..
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has even been suggested that some of these companies have links with organised crime.
Watch the video of the Second Reading and committee stage in the House of Commons recently. MPs have a very low opinion of this industry.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by in the not too distant future..You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
now I know more about how appealing works I will act on my own behalf if I receive another fine like this again. on this particular occasion the disabled OAP was only a visitor to my town, if she had been local I would of asked her for a short statement and added it to the appeal letter..
you people here do a great job. keep it up
thanks all again0 -
You should get one of the dispatchers/operators or the owner/manager to print a list of your jobs out for that day to prove you was working and dropping a customer off, if it ever happens again to you or another driver.
I'm assuming they use Autocab or similar, it will show time job booked, pickup and destintation and your car number0 -
will do. thanks0
