My update is that we have a new addition. A puppy has joined our household. It's been 13 years since we last had a puppy and I forgot how exhausting it is. Thank goodness I'm working from home this time round.

She's a little star. Not very MSE but she's a lovely addition to the family. Not enjoying running outside in the rain off and on all day and night because she's too little to hold her bladder but what can you do.

Kids are loving her. Bit excitable at times so I'm having to enforce time outs so the poor thing gets enough rest. And to stop them getting nipped. But they've loved paying in the garden with her.

Think Mummy is number 1 at the minute though. She's not meant to be "my" dog, more DH's. But they choose really don't they. I'm sure when she's big enough to go adventuring with him and goes on runs with him her allegiances will shift.

  • She is beautiful. Hopefully she’ll turn into a good girl too and not cause too much destruction before then. That face though..

Aww thank you for saying that. I just found it therapeutic to put my ramblings down and to be able to hold myself accountable.

It’s really nice to think that I might have helped someone along the way.

You’ve made my day a bit with that comment.

I know it’s early days but I have to be honest she’s been a little star.

A bit nippy with clothes, but she’s learning.

My only issue is she’s like a bloody sheep when it comes to the lawn. She loves pulling up the grass, so I’m REALLY looking forward to taking her on walks where she can get that out of her system elsewhere.  :D
