Getting out of Vodafone Contract

Can anyone offer any advice in how to attempt to get out of a Vodafone contract without having to pay any money.

This is probably an impossible task but I thought this would be the best place to try.

I've been with Vodafone for 7 year and have recently moved area. I cannot get a signal in my flat and despite complaining about this and being told there are no network issues in my area I am still having problems.

I went into my local Vodafone who told me that there is network issues in my area and have been for 3 years (apparantly a mast was vandalised 3 years ago and is yet to be repaired - this is in a heavily populated, suburban area on the outskirts of Glasgow) and that they are sick and tired of people from my area coming in and complaining and nothing being done about it.

All I have been offered is £5 a month off my contract. Its due for renewal on 02 February 08 and I am currently paying £30 a month.

I grudge paying £30 a month when they cannot provide a service and want to get out of my deal ASAP with the least financial impact possible. I've been told by them that as I took the contract out before I moved they will not cancel without me paying up the remainder of the contract.

Any help or advice on the best way to approach this would be helpful. I can't even seem to find a copy of Vodafones T&C's for pay monthly contracts to see what it says.

    Did worked for my friend....

Will do, if I could find their terms and conditions I'd like to check - but I'm sure they have 7 days to respond and if they don't I'm entitled to cancel my contract.
