First house no gas

Options
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, ive read through loads of threads regarding this issue apologies for making a new thread im just looking for some advice, I am currently looking to buy my first home, after renting for 9 years and viewing loads of houses, I’ve found a house that I really like. The area of my search isn’t huge hence it’s taken so long to find one that ticks most of my boxes, the house is a small 2 bed semi detached bungalow. Not large, about 75Sqft, house is walk in condition but the reason it’s in my budget i suspect is it’s not on the gas mains and never will be, I have never lived in a house without GCH, cooking with electric and the electric shower isn’t and issue neither is septic tank, I should say that I work full time and live on my own, house has double glazing, but I’d look to do put in triple glazing as near busy road and loft insulation, it also has a log burner in living room, the storage heaters would need to be removed heard mixed reviews on other heat sources, any advice is very appreciated.

Why would you remove what is going to be the only cost effective heating?

    What fuel do you have?

If its oil or LPG you just have to pay for it upfront instead of as you use it

With a log burner, you would need very little additional heat, you just have to source free wood at least a years supply in advance
