Night time parking fine

Hi - i parked in Pease Cottage (M23) service station at 02:45 and left at 06:15 (fell asleep unfortunately), not realising there was parking fines to think about - I've got a Charge Notice from CP Plus - as it was very dark and misty nothing was obvious regarding signs - couldn't see anything clearly at all - because it was very early morning, very dark and it was a little misty would i have any reasons here for an appeal on this charge?
Another thing, i have only just got back from the EU and find i have today only (24th Oct) to pay a reduced rate
Many thanks
David

You do realise that the "reduced rate" is just a scam to get you to mess your self, pay up, and shut up, with the least fuss don't you?

You have been invoiced for contravening their T&C's you have not been fined.

No one on here would pay CP Plus why are your even considering it?

You have grounds for appeal, and these muppets rarely enter a court anyway.

But you need to study the newbies start here thread to get a handle on this.

Your post needs altering to remove some identifying markers, including defined times, and hints to the driver's identity.
  • I understand about the newbies - and will remove such info - but for the life of me i cant find the newbies ?

Well, sorry to be blunt but you need to practice your surfing and researching if you are going to fight this.

Quite simply; this morning as of most mornings, it's the third thread down stuck to the top of page one of this forum!;)
