I assume you have now appealed with the forum template, and are ready to complain over the weekend.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

  • Thank you for taking the time to read this. Its probably like many others, but i am stressed out, losing sleep and don't know what to do.

Don't stress over this. This is exactly how these companies work. No debt collector will call at your house without a county court judgement. It's all threats designed to force you to pay.

You've done the right thing by coming to this forum.

My biggest advice is listen to the knowledgeable folk on this site. They helped me win, and they will help you win.

DON'T ignore any letters. Get advice on this forum first.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.
each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.

You absolutely CAN blank them. They sent me one last year for parking on a retail car park. Next step they send them with red print all over them because apparently that's more intimidating.
Then I got a couple of letters from a collection agency. Then a couple from a different agency!
I blanked them all. Haven't had a peep since.

That does not sound like a ParkingEye ticket. Which parking firm are you referring to @gwin?

Let's knock this on the head.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
