Hi I have read the newbies thread a few times now but still not sure whats next

PCN from UKPC on 7-9-18
As the Keeper i appealed on day 26 using the supplied template i received a letter back on the 17-10-18 but im not sure what the next step is

The letter includes:

in order to make a final decision please provide the drivers full name ect
Failure to provide this will give us no choice but to make out final decision based on previous info, at this stage a POPLA verification code will be provided

NOW NOW .... if you read about UKPC you will see that
that they are full of cr*p and they DO NOT need to know
who the driver is to reply to an appeal.

They are phishing and scamming you and NO WAY
do you tell them them who the driver is.

Wait for the POPLA code and come back here

You should note that UKPC are fraudsters and scammers
and worst of all they are approved scammers of the BPA

Have you used your real name as your forum username?

Then your really should ask MSE to change it to something totally anonymous.

To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:
    Q. How can I change my username?

    A.
In most circumstances, this is not permitted.

The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.

If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.

Then as Beamerguy says, ignore that letter and wait patiently for you appeal refusal and the accompanying PoPLA code.

Whilst waiting you might like to read post #3 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread where you will find out all about how to create a winning PoPLA appeal.

So you have two choices right now,

Either just wait for a POPLA code which help is here for you

OR ...... you can complain to the BPA that your right
to appeal has been dismissed as UKPC are asking for
information they are not entitled to

doesnt look like the OP has received an NTK at all

he subsequently received a phishing letter, asking for drivers details

an NTK would be addressed to the KEEPER and should come between day 29 and day 56 with the POFA warning on it

seems to me that the OP appealed a windscreen ticket and got this phishing letter in the post , but didnt get an NTK in the post
Hopefully UKPC have failed POFA2012 by failing to provide an NTK

so IGNORE and wait for the rejection with popla code is best , let UKPC keep making mistakes

however, if the KEEPER received a POSTAL NOTICE (NTK) on 07 09 2018 then that was the original NTK, meaning the first letter was the NTK pcn and should have come by day 15 following the incident date
  • only thing i have ever had in the post from these people is the "phishing" letter on the 17-10-18
