When I booked with Cosmos I was asked if I was paying for my holiday in full or in part with tokens. As it was in part I was asked to pay the deposit of £300 (£150 x 2) on the day of booking.

I had previously converted my clubcard points to Cosmos deals tokens online.

Cosmos did not ask me to provide deal token serial numbers at the time of booking but I had to post them to Cosmos to arrive within I think 7 days of making the booking.

I received the booking confirmation through the post from Cosmos the day after booking which showed the total value of the holiday less the £300 that I had paid. This balance was due 8 weeks before travel.

I sent my tokens off to Cosmos together with a photocopy of the booking confirmation (the photocopy wasn't required but as I had received the original I thought it might simplify matters at their end) and several days later I received a revised booking confirmation showing the balance due as booking price, less deposit paid, less amount paid for with deals tokens. This balance was due for payment 8 weeks before travel.
