Hi
I have received a parking charge notice from Smart Parking, I am a blue badge holder and parked in a designated and signed disabled bay in a car park which was previously local authority run.I was parked for 1 hr 19 minutes as shown by their photos on the mailed Parking Charge Notice, I have not communicated with Smart in any way, what is my best way forward please?

to read and follow the advice in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, 3 threads down from the top of this forum, use the blue text template and appeal as KEEPER
complain to the landowner or retailer as a BB holder under the EA2010 and insist on a cancellation
a BB isnt valid on private land so make sure that the BB holder complies with the signage in future, the BB holder cannot just park in the bay and put the badges out like on the public street
read the blue booklet and see what it says about private land and using the badge
what doe the signs tell a BB holder to do ? register the vehicle on a machine or tablet ?0
