Virgin Media . BILLING & Service RELIABILITY ( if compensation )

Options
RE Signed up for Virgin Media Broadband ( 100 MB internet ONLY . no telephone . no tv ) THOUGH find some issues with . ? BILLING .

On my Bank Statement money came out of the Account of ( £ 83 . Friday . 14 Th September 2018 ) & Monthly internet of ( £ 29 . Monday . 15 Th October 2018 ) I telephoned the Call Centre & explained that with previous Contract I'd Paid ( £ 50 for 802.11 AC modem / router )

THOUGH . Found with new contract it WON'T Connect to Broadband . So have to make use of the Modem / Router supplied that I don't own .

So my previous ( £ 50 . 802.11 AC modem / router ) is not of any use & wasted . I am TOLD at the Virgin Media Call Centre that there is supposedly . Double Billing & that is WHY there is a Bill for ( £ 83 . Friday . 14 Th September 2018 )

THOUGH . this doesn't comply with the Contract is very much Unknown issues . I was very much unaware of this 1 St Payment & this amount . THOUGH . also the broadband connection has been . Faulty Twice . with no internet for some hours up to 1 day of no home internet .

WHAT I need to ASK ? is it accurate with Contract for this 1 St Payment of ( £ 83 . Friday . 14 Th September 2018 ) & ALSO can I get any Money Compensation for disconnect of my Home Internet such that is relevant for other Utility Supplies because of . Failure of Service .

PLEASE do let me know Your Experiences of . Virgin Media Billing & Service Reliability / ELSE . No Reliability if the case may be .

No problem with Virgin Media for me.
  • I'm not even sure what you are trying to convey to us, OP?

I very much doubt any "compensation" will be headed your way.

    Sorry.
  • If the members OP is anything to go by its the poor communication skills that has led to the problems he/she now face with Virgin Media.

It could well be a language issue. The OP might get on well with some of VM's offshore reps

More likely that they couldn't understand him, judging by his previous posts and one that was also removed today elsewhere

Fail to supply compensation if you ask . Your daily VM charge times the number of days out of service .

8 posts in 10 years, all of which are equally unreadable. I'd lean more towards the T word but who knows.

Compensation = your monthly charge divided by 30 multiplied by the number of days without service.

Its a refund not compensation .
Days without service .Exact ask the ISP or read its T&C.

    <So my previous ( £ 50 . 802.11 AC modem / router ) is not of any use & wasted >
Your fault and a product that is not for cable .

<Faulty Twice . with no internet for some hours up to 1 day of no home internet . >

Probably 3 days no use before pro rata refund kicks in .

The rest of your complaints are to difficult to read/ understand .
