BW Legal (NCP) Letter of Claim

Hello,
Back in June I stayed at one of the NCP's for 11 minutes and 29 seconds and I left without buying the ticket. Unfortunately I was caught by ANPR camera. I ignored all the correspondence from NCP, debt collectors and BW Legal.
A few days ago I received the Letter of Claim from BW Legal followed up by several phone calls. Do I have the grounds to defend this? What should I reply to them? In the letter BW Legal did not include photographic evidence but in previous letters NCP did. The letter from BW Legal is signed as "Yours faithfully BW Legal".
Please advise.

Two years ago you managed to respond to a Letter of Claim from Gladstones.
Can you not do something similar this time?0 -
Yeah but two years ago I knew I had rights to park where I parked but this time I know I did not buy the ticket therefore I got the PCN.0

This looks like the LoC I received 2 years ago. When I questioned it they called it "pre-action communication".
The LoC I have just received has sections headed "Pre-action protocol for debt claim" and "Particulars of debt"
It also includes Annex 1 and a Reply form. Your LoC does not comply with the requirements.
Unfortunately for bwl they have sent my latest over 6 years after the event!0 -
I received Annex 1 information sheet and reply form too.0

Lots of good guidance on how to respond to a Letter of Claim can be found in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.0

I've seen that but like I said do I have grounds for defence?0
