If the able bodied are allowed to park where you did for 15 minutes, then disabled people should be allowed longer.

The Equality Act 2010 stipulates that service providers must make "reasonable adjustments" for those with "protected characteristics" under the Act. Complain to the hospital and your MP. Warn the PPC and the hospital that, should this get to court, you will counter-claim against them both for disability discrimination. Watch the video below.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed in the house as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an
    M.P. for unprofessional conduct

The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Don't be ridiculous. Straight talking:

You guess completely WRONG. Where do you see anyone on this entire forum PAYING, or telling any poster to pay this scam?

IMHO, it's shameful that people come here, read all the info, get our advice and then still post stuff like ''I am going to pay''.

It is not an option to FUND THE SCAM against the next victims, for an easy life for you. Honestly, do you want to sponsor them and bankroll the next scam PCNs?

Did you read the Q&A in the NEWBIES thread where it tells newbies that you DO NOT HAVE A 14 DAY DEADLINE AT ALL?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    thanks for your forceful reply
the 14 day referred to is that they say the charge doubles,
I appealed to gemini as stated previously they sent a POPLA number and state if this fails the charge is 150 pounds, I looked at this but no conditions match mine?
having already written to gemini and explained the circumstances they are aware who was driving?
my car is a motability car.
there are so many pieces of information I am confused as to what I should do?
there is nothing as I can see will match my circumstances bearing in mind I have already written to gemini.
I appreciate your comments about paying, but I am 66 disabled and do not need more stress and anxiety that this has brought and probably more if left .

How much was the ticket for. ???

The way it works that if paid within 14 days you get a discount

If you lost at POPLA then its the ticket price.

IT DOES NOT DOUBLE after POPLA ???

Are they really saying that ?

Please don't explain it, as if it's something new (they ALL do that and we do this every day).

You need to read the NEWBIES thread - the FAQS already debunks that.
