Gemini parking solutions

my car got a ticket at queens hospital Romford my wife came to pick me up from hospital and parked on the pickup bay outside A and E she displayed my blue badge,

on returning to the vehicle we had a ticket I appealed and were told the appeal was rejected as we overstayed the 15min allowed?
unbeknown to my wife the doctors were running late and we exceeded the 15mins because I was not ready.(which I must admit I knew nothing about)
should I just pay this as my appeal was rejected?
amy help would be gratefully received

Cter, can you please delete your earlier post? Thanks.

Have you explained the circumstances to PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) at the hospital and asked them to arrange a cancellation?

Have you seen the NHS patient, visitor and staff car parking principles?

    Particularly this bit:
    Contracted-out car parking

NHS organisations are responsible for the actions of private contractors who run car parks on their behalf.

    Complain to PALS.

You need to read the link posted by KeithP and then refer again to PALS, particularly the bit that says: -
NHS organisations are responsible for the actions of private contractors who run car parks on their behalf.
Maybe they will take a different view when you tell them you will include them in any court action taken against you by Gemini.

    absolute rubbish

the hospital hired them , they can instruct them , just like they do with any other employee

additional time should have been allowed / allowances made for a blur badge holder

Kick-it it higher-up the food chain. Complain strongly to the directors of Infrastructure, Senior Medical or even the Chairman at BHR Trust and copy it to your MP.
