Long time supporter of the cause and altruism showed on this forum. Wondering if help can be provided.
Details of situation below:
Registered keeper parked in NCP car park on 28/04/18.
Ticket machine was not working so ticket was not purchased.
ANPR captured upon entry and exit.
Purpose of parking was for funeral and registered keeper was under understandable emotional duress at the time contributing to impaired cognitive function and unstable decision-making.
Date of Offence: 28/04/18
Various debt recovery letters were received - all ignored.
BW Legal letters received including LBC - all ignored. Admittedly, against advice given on forum. Head in Sand, running from responsibility, etc. Apologies.
Received County Court Claim in post. Date of issue: 18/10/18.
Have logged AOC and have started new thread as per newbies post #2.
As mentioned, would humbly appreciate help and advice at this juncture and remain admirable of the cause.

so the AOS has been done (not AOC)Date of issue: 18/10/18.
then read the examples of defences and construct one of your own and post it below for critique0 -
You have 33 days frmo the date of issue.
Post 2 of the newbies thread gives you examples to follow.
WHich car park? Was it on railway land?0 -
thanks for your replies nosferatu1001 and RedX - have read through multiple responses of yours on the forum so appreciate you taking the time to reply to this issue. to confirm, AOS has been submitted online. (apologies Redx)
Car park was not on railway land. It is an NCP car park with ANPR functionality.
Reluctant to post location owing to mentioned 'lurkers' on these threads.
Have read through the various defences on post #2 and believe the defence for suitable for this issue would be the 'Pay and Display and App' defence. App did not work and pay and display machine was not working too, as mentioned. Obviously, will not copy defence word for word but will use as a guide.
thanks again and will draft my defence and post on here asap.0 -

With a Claim Issue Date of 18th October, and having done the AoS in a timely manner, you have until until 4pm on Tuesday 20th November 2018 to file your Defence.
A whole month to produce a perfect Defence, but don't leave it to the very last minute.
When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as described here:
1) Print your Defence.
2) Sign it and date it.
3) Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
4) Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
5) Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
6) Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defended". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
7) Wait for your Directions Questionnaire and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.0
