o2 retention deal?

Has anyone been able to get any sort of o2 retention deal recently, on a refresh contract.


I've tried several ways, as in online chat, phone and in store - however, all are proving useless. I've been with o2 for 5 years but it doesn't seem to make any difference and the current Vodafone sim only deal for 6Gb at £10 per mth is looking very tempting - I would need to buy a handset outright though...

Do you mean they're refusing to offer you anything? In which case check your credit rating. If you mean you don't like their offers, then go elsewhere.

Checked credit rating and its very good, as in just of the top - 985 I think...
Thinking I might just have to bite the bullet and jump ship.

You could check what sim only deals area available from Giffgaff and Tesco Mobile who both use the O2 network. I have used a Giffgaff sim in several O2 locked phones with no trouble.
