Good morning everyone :hello:
I had a better day yesterday so I feel ok at the moment. I think I just feel abandoned by the local mental health services after my lovely cmht lady left. It just seems weird to me that I have been so unwell apparently that I needed a weekly visit for a few years and now she has left, I have made a miraculous recovery so I don't need to see anyone . Sorry for my whinge, I haven't been able to leave my house again since August so my world seems rather small.
Anyhoo, there are far worse things happening so I want to send hugs and cwtches to Holly, hope your operation goes well sweetie xx
Also Hester, I hope CHS makes a full recovery and you feel supported by your family and friends xx
TA, I am still thinking about you xx
Polly, taff and snoozer and everyone else who has had their life turned upside down by that bl**dy cancer, I hope you manage to make the most of every moment you can spend with family and friends too xx
Jemima and the kids are coming round in a little while as they have broken up now for Half Term. I shall have to make sure the biccie jar is filled up. I also have to sort out something for tea tonight. Probably make a bolognese sauce as I have defrosted some mince from yesterday. Right, will crack on with that while I still have some energy.
Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx0 -
dumpling, I too was amazed when you said what was going on and very angry on your behalf.
Thoughts are with Holly and Hester and CHS. Also TA,I hope you're managing to rest, I know how manic the time is trying to organise everything.
Steve and I went to York yesterday - I was hoping to get present inspiration but had no joy.
I've decided to tell you all my news because I'm bursting to tell someone and so long as the ones who know me on Facebook don't mention it on there I'm safe. Laura is PREGNANT! The treatment worked but she is being very cautious and it is still early days, apparently the risk of miscarriage is greater for women suffering from PCOS. I can't help thinking it will all be fine though, I've got everything crossed.
Steve has been quite tearful about it because he got it into his head that he might not see a grandchild which is irrational but understandable I suppose.0 -
Another post eaten up by the gremlins of the Internet.
Thinking if TA, Captain HS and Holly with life to the other poorlies and the worried.
Terrible night, have done another bathroom blitz but really it all needs replacing. Going back to bed once the washing is out.
ETA just saw your post Snoozer and you have told us what I think many of us may have been hoping to hear - congratulations and best wishes to Laura!I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Morning all,
Catching up on yesterday, Hester, I hope all is well.
Yesterday was completely uneventful. Gym > work > home > dinner > GBBO catch up > Xbox with my mates > bed for 9.45.
I'm continuing to look for properties in Manchester and looking to go down either this weekend or next to view them myself. Also, it appears it'll cost me close to £1,000 to rent my property out by the time I change my mortgage, use a letting agent to market it, their fees, PAT tests, smoke alarms etc. Oh well, it's the price you pay I suppose and will have to suck it up.
Today should be much the same as yesterday, although I'll try and be more productive on the Manchester front. Dill and buttermilk chicken tonight.
HH - hope it all goes well. We are all looking forward to having you back.
Scarlet - Aw what kind of pup? Any pics?
Taff - well wishes for you today. And be careful!
csarina - Congratulations!!!0 -

Good morning everyone:)
A bright sunny day here in East London, although very chilly
Thanks for starting us off nmlc.
Sending huge (((hugs))) to all our friends who are struggling at the moment.
And congratulations winging their way to those who have had good news.
Yesterday DH & I attended his aunt’s funeral. She was 97 years young when she passed, so she had a good innings. The rain held off & the whole thing went as well as these things can. Some sadness but mostly a celebration of a life well lived.
Came home last night & DSis had cooked us dinner - chicken, chips & baked beans.
Today I need to get back into decluttering & housework interspersed with knitting

Afternoon lovelies :hello:
Didn't have a great day yesterday, my spinning head lasted all day, culminating in a nose bleed, so had an early night. Slept through till 10am with only 2 loo breaks, so I feel almost human today. Mr Fix It on the other hand is a bit under the weather, but we think it's as a result of his flu jab on Tuesday.
On the housework front I have defrosted my freezers and done an inventory, only threw a few bits and bobs out. Both are now tidied and I have some room ready for some Christmas goodies too :j.
I also did a towel wash and hung it out as the weather has been sunny here today.
I found 2 chicken portions in the freezer so we will have those in a HM sweet and sour sauce with rice, for tea tonight.
Csarina congrats on the new GGD.
Snoozer hope everything goes well for Laura. Congrats to you and her
Nelski take time to relax and breathe my friend :A. I am sure your friends will be just happy to see you, so forget about making your home a show home. I'm sure it will be sparkling anyway. xx
I hope Holly's op is a success today, I shall send healing thoughts and gentle hugs her way.
Hester sending healing vibes to you and CHS.
TA my thoughts and love are with you and your family as always.
Sending hugs to everyone who is going through treatment, poorly or struggling at present.
Take care all

Didn't get on MSE yesterday as we were out; sneding massive GWS wishes to Hester's CHS. I can't help but think the shenanigans his work have put him through have been very much a contributory factor. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
