They would have to pay £100 to have the stay removed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the reply. Should I just wait and see what happens then? Are there any time limits on removing the stay etc?
Thanks again0 -
It is stayed indefinitely

Seasons greetings all,
I'm confused as I have just received the forms for notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track - N149a. Was told the claim had been stayed (see above). Letter reads:
1.This is now a defended claim
The defendent has filed a defence
2. It apears that this is suitable for allocation to the small claims track.
Then it requests filling in the form N180 and filing it with the court and serve copies on the other parties by the 3st1 December?
Is this a belated copy of what the claiment did not return in time? I know the courts were working behind schedule.
Confused and concerned as the court is not open to call today - I'm guessing they are now closed until the new year by which time the deadline in the letter will have elapsed.
What is the best course of action - I'm thinking of emailing it for compliance and attaching a covering letter to say that we were told the claim was stayed?
Can someone advise please.
Many thanks0 -

Where's Mystic Meg when you need her? Is she closed over Christmas? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
