G24 contractual parking charge

Hi I parked at my local shoppi g centre, for 20 minute longer than allowed. I wasn't feeling to well, and subsequently because of this stayed longer than normal. I have no received a parking charge for £100 if not paid within 7 days. If I pay now it will be £60, there is conflicting advice over what I need to do if anything. I have read that I should ignore the letters, as the contract was not enforceable. And then someone else commented and said that the process had changed and now these fine a are impossible now, and therefore I have to pay it. Can someone please advise me what to do, and I apologise if this is frustrating as it's been put so many time before. Thank you in advance for help received. :money:

Your best bet is to read post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to get a clear idea of the game you are now caught up in.

Send the blue text appeal found there.

Send it without change - no additions or alterations necessary.

Send it as the keeper.

At the same time complain to the shopping centre saying that as it is now too expensive you'll have to shop somewhere else and you'll be advising your family and friends to do likewise.


Oh... and please stop using the F-word.
