Boiler cover with Powergen
I have just boiler cover with British gas that costs me 12.87 a month I have just been speaking to powergen who I get the gas and electric off and they have a offer of full cover on the boiler and the pipes and radiators at 13 pounds a month. They have a offer at the moment were they will credit the electric account with 25 pounds credit if you take the cover out with them .

But with the cover you never know so thats why i have it0 -
I have a Swinton policy, does the same thing, costs me £29 p.a.
Martins advice in one of the stickies is to self insurance, i.e. stick in an interest bearing account just for emergencies.0 -
I think the Swinton policy will only be useful if boiler completely breaks down i.e an emergency situation (no heating)
Some people might not want the inconvenience of an intermittent fault which may lead to complete breakdown.
