Need help with Sky

Options
My 18 month contract is ending on 19 November 2018 with Sky and I am seriously debating whether to quit (been with them since Dec 2012) as most of the TV I watch is on Freeview. The only thing I really want from Sky is the Sky Sports F1. Most of the time I watch YouTube or catchup TV through BBC iPlayer etc.

Also I really do not get why I have to pay line rental when I haven't made a phone call using the home phone in about six years.

I have been successful in the past negotiating some discounts when my contract ends but can only see myself staying with Sky if I can really nail a huge discount (50% - 60% off). Can anyone give some tips and stories on successfully getting big discounts, cheers.
