Carphone warehouse Trade in scam
[*]I bought a note 9 from car phone warehouse with offer of having additional £200 on selected device regardless if they are working or not.
So i bought the note 9 and sent in my note 4 for trade in. After 2 weeks they email me saying the device is not working.
I email them back to offer me the non-working value without a reply.
Called the call center to ask for update and they told me to wait for the reply. Now they have returned my device without any communication.
I called there customer service to ask for help and they told to simply apply for new trade in and they cannot give me the extra £200
What should i do?

The key is "selected devices". Unless you have a screen shot showing that Note 4 was a selected device then I don't think you will get anywhere.
Non working Note 4's are worth about £10 whereas a non working Note 8 is worth £1200 -
The Note 4 is in the current list of selected devices. https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/terms-and-conditions/note9-terms-and-conditions.html0

Sections 10-12 of the T&Cs linked above detail the complaints process. I suggest the OP complies with these, keeping detailed notes0
