Just caught up with your diary! Amazing to almost reach your original OP target in such a short time!
I'm also vegan and a runner:wave:
And reading about your ebay selling is funny - I downloaded the app and get really excited when I hear the cash register ring that means someone's placed a bid!Original MF Date January 2035. MF Date February 20220 -

Jodles16 and misslemon...
Awe thanks...
Actually if you went back about 15 years... i was struggling with credit card debts and loans to pay off credit cards! It took me years to sort myself out and a few years later when the old habits had started again... I got made redundant, had a baby and filed for divorce within an 18 months ... so ended up a single parent with a baby and no job and no home. Its taken years to get a decent job again, get a house, get a life again.
Now I'm paranoid over getting made redundant again and loosing my house.. then loosing my kid. So the sooner i get shot of my mortgage the better I'd feel!!
But I'm trying to be balanced so also saving for other stuff like holidays and new kitchen.
Its not always been like this! I've had
OP made...£163.30
I've also made it to my £1000 spending money for disney.
Next small saving target is £500 for fun times with my caravan.# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

Got my letter about my overpayment..
I've now got 16 years 3 months left but my final payment has dropped.
Its been an un-exciting week spending wise..
Not being good with writing in spending diary so must catch up this weekend...
Workmates are having a day out drinking tomorrow. I'm playing my 'single parent' card and staying home. A trip to football club is a lot cheaper!# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

Just made this months OP of £200.
Bought a car this month. Managed to find exactly what I want.. and amazingly got a lot more for my car than I thought.
Had £3500 to spend on top my cars part exchange price but only spent £1500.
I was going to chuck a large OP at the mortgage but thetes talk of closure and redundancy at work.. so am leaving it in the bank.
At least I have a few thousand in the emergency fund if it comes to that.
Obviously my response to the rumours is to start apply for jobs...
Still it could be worse!!!# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60
