    Reminds me of the one where the guy bought a brand new spare for his Morris Eight and carried the spare over to his new cars and eventually actually needed it but the breakdown guy said there is no way a Morris Eight wheel will fit your Fiesta. :)

    Although correct in the vast majority of cases, if correctly stored and I believe a 50 year old tyre can be usable. Not sure how long they are good for once put into action and not sure I would be happy.
